Sometimes in life we experience times when things come to an end, crop up unexpectedly, or just simply seem to pile up on us.
At these times counselling can help you explore situations enabling you to cope with or come to terms with events and help you find a way through them.
I am an integrative counsellor combining psychodynamic theory with a humanistic approach. I am also a Relate trained and qualified couples counsellor, and I am BACP accredited and UKRCP registered. I have run my own practice for over 12 years, dealing with individuals, couples and young people (aged 13 upwards).
Additionally, I am an affiliate counsellor for many EAP's (Employee Assisted Programmes), am engaged by an NHS Primary Care Trust as both a Counsellor and a Supervisor and I am a Supervisor for East Kent with Swale Cruse Bereavement Care. I work from both Ashford at my dedicated studio, and in Canterbury from a room in a private clinic. Both locations have available free parking and good transport links.
I offer both long or short term work depending upon your requirements and can help with Anxiety, Depression, Social Anxiety/Phobias, Workplace Stress, Relationship Issues, Bereavement, Childhood Issues, and/or Abuse, and Life Stage Adjustments such as new parenting, retirement, disablement etc. This list is not exhaustive as each person is different, and each approaches life from a slightly different angle.
